Because Free Comic Book Day is upon us, I thought it would behoove me to push to get the next installment of my series of superhero novellas, Tex Arkana, out the door.

My Punching Bag
Here’s why I leave the artwork to Turner. This is the design I had in my head for The Punching Bag, the titular protagonist of my novella in the Kindle store. The basic principle’s the same, I just have a full head Spider-Man style mask, and I believe the boxing glove is actually reversed in the chest insignia. Either way, I’m maybe par as an artist, and for some reason I felt like drawing him off balance.
