The Punchin’ Bag 4: Compensating

The latest in my webcomic, The Punchin’ Bag, as he tackles the greatest foe of all: soul crushing office work. Check out the rest here, and Gentleman & Scholar Comics here.

As a fan of Office Space, The Office, and a victim of offices myself, this was a cathartic comic.

The Punchin’ Bag

This is the first of my one-page black and white comic series, The Punchin’ Bag.

This follows the adventures of The Punchin’ Bag as he tries to take on the greatest foe of all: real life.

Michael Kading was an ignominious office worker, whose skin was rendered impervious to harm by a freak accident. He was, however, not granted super strength, nor a high tolerance for pain, nor is his intelligence above average. Feeling he should at least try to do good, he became…The Punchin’ Bag.

Gentleman & Scholar Comics presents its first full collaboration comic book, Tex Arkana.

Learn Tex Arkana’s origin as he struggles with his past, at the expense of his present. There may be hope for his future, yet.

Tex Arkana is a relic of a bygone era. A superhero returned from operations in Afghanistan, can he survive in a post-War on Terror world that has passed him by?

The entire Gentleman & Comics line is on Indy Planet as well!

#fanartfriday A Slideshow showing the synthesis of Machine Man-Thing 2099

When I had this silly idea, I figured it would be best to keep it simple and do an homage to two of the more famous covers of the 70s, Machine Man #1 and Man-Thing #1. Using the wonders of MS Paint, I put together a hideous amalgamation  and sent it over to my man Turner. What he sent back to me was better than I hoped for. He’s truly talented.
